    first theme: LANGUAGES - previous assignments

      3. to be posted on the page EDL: an argumentative text (stating your opinion) on the statement:
      «Learning other peoples' languages is a way of helping us to understand each other better and overcome our cultural differences.»

      • WOMEN’S RIGHTS: have a look at the attached subjects/links. Choose one: do some further research on it and write a critical text (stating your opinion) about the chosen issue - to be posted on the "HUMAN RIGHTS" page.

      Many may think that women’s rights are only an issue in countries where religion is law, such as many Muslim countries. Or even worse, some may think this is no longer an issue at all. But reading this report about the United Nation’s Women’s Treaty and how an increasing number of countries are lodging reservations, will show otherwise.
