Movie Review - Persepolis

When we were talking about Democracy, the teacher told us that we were going to watch a movie about that theme. That movie was Persepolis, an animated movie.
The main character of the movie is a girl called Marjane who lives in Iran
The movie helped me to understand how Iran was in Social and Political terms during the revolution, and how the opression afected the iranians life
The movie was widely criticized, although most critics enjoyed the film.
Furthermore, the Iranian government reaction were not good. The iranian Government wrote a letter to French embassy telling that the movie has presented an unrealistic face of the achievements and results of the glorious Islamic Revolution in some of its parts.

quotes -- a comment

In a democracy the poor will have more power than the rich, because there are more of them, and the will of the majority is supreme. - Aristotle

I agree with this statement of Aristotle, because, in fact actually there are more poor people than rich people, so if the poor people are the majority, they have the power to decide who they want to govern, but then the politicians have more power to decide what course should we take in economic and social decisions.
Basically this means that poor people, who are the majority can decide who will govern, but then the politicians can make important decicions of a country. That's my opinion on what happens today in most democratic countries.

9/11 and the theory of conspiracy
The main reason for those conspiracy theories is the involvement of Al Qaeda in the terrorist attacks of September 11. In fact after the 9/11 a variaty of conspiracy theories have been put forward in the internet, books, and films. But there are some suprising theories that claim that the collision of the planes into the Twin Towers was a premeditated act by the government and the United States of America
