Dalai Lama

We made our oral presentation about Dalai Lama and the first thing we discovered was that Dalai Lama isn't his real name. His real name is Tenzin Gyatso and the Dalai Lama is the supreme entity of Buddhism, so I guess you can consider him a kind of Buddhism pope. Tenzin is well known for his Peace Prize award in 1989, received for dedicating his life struggling for the liberation of Tibet and the efforts for a peaceful resolution. He received more than 100 prizes throughout his life and is considered the responsible for the union between spirituality and Science. Tenzin is a Buddhist, and that is why he is so peaceful and even gets to say he loves China after they have violently invaded Tibet, killing lots and lots of Tibetans. He's a liberal person and even though he sometimes seems to approach topics he doesn't seem to know much about, I consider him one of the bravest men in history, and after all, he did save thousands or even millions of lives without recurring to violence.
